You Can't Always Get What You Want


 In 1965, Marianne Faithfull fled to London with her son to live with Brian Jones and Anita Pallenberg. There, she started dating Rolling Stones front man, Mick Jagger. Theirs was a very public relationship, as both were singers. There were many drug busts, and even a scandal involving a Mars bar... In 1968, they retreated to Jagger's home in Ireland.
Their relationship produced many of the Rolling Stones' best songs, such as "She Smiled Sweetly," "Let's Spend The Night Together," "She's A Rainbow," "You Can't Always Get What You Want," "Wild Horses," "I Got The Blues," "100 Years Ago," and "Winter." They broke up in 1970.
